A road by any other name will be a disappointment.

The Blue Ridge Parkway as described by things we said

"If someone asks me to go for a great motorcycle ride I'm going to tell them to take the next three days off we're going to Virginia. It's the best road I've ever been on. " ~Jake

"Breathtaking", "Scary", "I'm pretty sure I lost my butt 250 miles into North Carolina." ~Rachel

"I just want a mental break from turning.", "It's amazing, the different thought process each squirrel has for crossing the road or getting out of the way." ~Justin
"That was terrible" ~the lead singer of the band we went to after Jake's washboard solo. (There's a video don't worry)

The Blueridge Parkway was one of the best roads we've ever been on. It was a road with constant curves, beautiful views and a strict 45 mph speed limit. You don't need to go any faster on this road to have the best time of your life and of you do you'll eventually have to slow down just to give yourself a break from the, "Is there going to be something on the other side of this blind turn or rock wall?" feeling.

We are all a little tired and a lot more sore but we enjoyed the day. Overall it was a great experience. We rode approximately 3/4 of the parkway in our 15 hour day to get to Murphy, NC. We are now a few minutes from the gap and we will go out separate ways by then end of the day. The company will be missed.

~Justin

PS No animals were physically harmed during this adventure, lack of mental anguish cannot be guaranteed.
